Welcome to my website.It has been some time since any major update to the site, partly reflecting the fact that I have been particularly busy. After the exhibition in the Netherlands and a few minor projects locally, I needed some time to take stock of things. The studio needed some sorting and I have spent a considerable amount of time shopping for equipment and raw material. In the meantime, I have also been researching glazes, mulling over textural qualities, colour and future projects.
At the moment I am throwing, throwing, throwing… I had not been on the wheel for months and I had almost forgotten the intensity of the process. I am throwing forms just for the sake of the technical challenge and the sheer pleasure!
Next on the agenda is an open studio sometime in November or December while working on an entirely new collection to exhibit at St James Cavalier in 2010. Watch this space or register for updates.
